On my way to Japan in December of 2010, I sat next to a sweet elderly woman named Yoshida-san. She spoke little English and my Japanese was a little rusty but we still managed to communicate with one another during the duration of the plane ride. She told me something that has stuck to me ever since, "You have the spirit of a Tiger."
